Beats by Dre


Beats by Dr. Dre (Beats) is a leading audio brand founded in 2006 by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine. Through its family of premium consumer headphones, earphones and speakers, Beats has introduced an entirely new generation to the possibilities of premium sound entertainment. The brand’s continued success helps bring the energy, emotion and excitement of playback in the recording studio back to the listening experience for music lovers worldwide. Beats was acquired by Apple Inc. in July 2014.


Beats needed a way to display multiple videos and images on the website. Product videos were shown to increase conversion and create an overall more engaging user experience on the site. I designed a bespoke media carousel from the ground up, working with the creative and development teams to bring the component to life.



Leathwaite is an award-winning executive search and leadership talent advisory firm, delivering an interconnected range of executive search, executive interim and data & insight services.


Leathwaite hired me to create a more engaging way to convey information about CIO roles in the banking industry. My solution was to create an interactive infographic with lightweight HTML/CSS/JS and package it as a plugin so that it could be deployed modularly across the website with a simple WordPress short code. This project was completed within 2-3 weeks.
