Overview

An original mobile game: Leading a small team of developers, I conceived of and designed an original mobile word game. Unique in the word game genre, Qwert is a fast-paced, competitive word game that leverages real-time multiplayer functionality and several in-game features that encourage user retention.

My role: Product owner, responsible for the end-to-end design and development process, including game concepts, visual and interaction design and overall business model. I conducted market and user research, produced wireframes, mockups and prototypes and oversaw the full development lifecycle. I developed marketing materials including websites, video trailers, app store visuals and other collateral.

The final product is an original word game unique in the genre, developed with limited budget and resources. The game has already been featured in numerous games publications including Pocket Gamer and Touch Arcade and was featured on Indie Live Expo.
